CD7194-B 5dBi RFI Antenna with a 5m 195 grade cable and FME Female connector. Designed and manufactured in Australia for our local Telstra, Optus and Vodafone cellullar networks. This rugged 65.5cm tall outdoor fibreglass antenna with stainless steel spring and 13mm stud mount (requires 16mm hole). Ideal for mounting on vehicle bull bars, truck mirrors, marine vessels, masts and buildings. This OMNI antenna covers 690MHz to 2700MHz frequencies and therefore will work with any carrier on GSM, 3G and 4G networks.

Important Information:
Modems: A patch lead is required to complete the antenna connection to the modem. There are two types of patch leads to suit modems depending upon the availability of an external antenna connector on the modem. For modems with an external antenna connector, the patch lead has an FME male connector at one end for connection to the antenna, and a device specific connector at the other end for the modem. For modems without an external antenna connector, the patch lead is similar except it has a stick-on Velcro pad, instead of a connector. These work by proximity induction and require the pad or clip to be placed on the modem. The signal is transferred to the devices internal antenna by electromagnetic induction.

Phones: A patch lead or cradle is required depending upon the availability of an external antenna connector. Patch leads can be used as described above, however, cradles are a more convenient way to connect an antenna to a mobile phone. Cradles can be used in a vehicle or on the desktop. When the phone is placed in the cradle the connected antenna signal couples to the phones internal antenna by electromagnetic induction.
