TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
By placing a purchase order online, by email, by fax, by post, by telephone or verbally the purchaser is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Specifications and prices are subject to change without notice. Picture on our web site, datasheets and catalogues may not be exact model as described. Gain specifications are average dBi where applicable.
Prices shown in our online store (www.comnet.com.au) or printed price lists and price guides are subject to change without notice at any time. Online prices include GST. Where applicable, GST is charged at 10%. Where a written quotation is requested and issued, prices shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of quotation unless otherwise specified. Prices may or may not include GST as indicated on the quotation. Refer to the quotation for any special conditions. Tax invoice will be issued upon delivery.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE:
Quotations are “AUD Fixed Price” unless otherwise stated.
Orders for stock items placed before 2.00pm EST (Monday to Friday) are generally shipped same day or as requested. Non-stock items can take up to two weeks. Stock and non-stock items are indicated in our online store. Delivery charges and options are automatically displayed when placing an online order. Written quotations will show delivery charges as a separate item.
Payment Terms are “payment before delivery”. Payment can be made by Paypal, Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), Direct Deposit or Company Cheque subject to clearance. Credit accounts are available for regular customers with a minimum 3 months trading history with CNS. All account orders and subsequent provision of credit are subject to satisfactory credit arrangements. CNS may suspend shipments at any time if any invoice or account becomes overdue. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts.
Warranty is provided for all products sold. CNS warrants that the Products supplied will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of invoice. See our Warranty Terms and Conditions available from our web site for more information.
Purchase Orders placed either online, by email, by fax, by post, by telephone or verbally can not be cancelled without prior written authority from CNS. Cancellation charges will apply of up to: a) 20% for standard stock product line items; b) 50% for non-standard products - special orders.
Purchase Orders placed must specify requested delivery dates for all items thereon. Deliveries against orders may not be rescheduled without prior written authority from CNS and may attract a rescheduling fee. Purchase Orders placed must include:
1. Specific delivery date or period.
2. Statement of payment terms.
3. Reference to a quotation relative to the order, plus acceptance of the CNS Terms and Conditions in total or modification thereto. By placing a Purchase Order with CNS you are deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Certain products are not returnable including software, IT products, consumables and some wireless products unless required by law. Prior to returning a product, a customer must obtain an RA (Return Authorisation) Number from CNS. Where a product return for credit or refund is authorised, a minimum re-stocking fee of 20% of the invoice value or $25.00, which ever is the greatest, shall be charged. Products acceptable for credit or refund return must be in as new saleable condition and in the original packaging. Any shortages or physical damage will incur extra re-stocking charges or may be rejected and returned.
The liability of CNS for any and all claims, actions, demands, damages, proceedings, judgments, orders, costs, liabilities or obligations of any kind arising from the supply of Goods and Services shall be limited to the repair of the goods or at the option of CNS, replacement or the supply of equivalent goods. In all cases, the amount of CNS’s liability shall not exceed the Price received from the Customer.
As required by law, any product in breach of Statutory Warranties and Conditions in force in the state of NSW Australia can be returned for a refund or replacement.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR RF PRODUCTS
This document is to be read in conjunction with Comnet Solutions Terms and Conditions of Sale. By placing an order for an RF product you are deemed to have accepted these Additional Terms and Conditions of Sale.
LICENSED FREQUENCY BANDS:
It is illegal in most countries to use RF Products for transmission in licensed frequency bands unless you are the license holder. For more information for Australian frequency restrictions refer to the ACMA website at http://www.acma.gov.au/ Products sold by CNS must not be used to transmit or receive radio frequency signals in licensed frequency bands or any prohibited frequency bands even if the product has the capability of being configured, reconfigured or modified by the user by altering or upgrading the firmware or in any other way so as to allow transmission in licensed frequency bands.
LIGHTNING AND STATIC DISCHARGE:
Lightning and Static Discharge damage is not covered by warranty. Note that Static Discharge occurs even when there is no lightning. CNS carries extra spares during the storm season.
POWER OVER ETHERNET:
Power Over Ethernet (POE's) are designed to fail if there is a power surge. It's a $25 - $60 consumable part that saves the radio in case of a power surge. Failed or miswired POE's are not covered by warranty.
RF products generally have to be grounded to operate correctly. Installation guides should be consulted so that correct grounding is implemented. Most internal antennas are DC grounded. They should be grounded using the grounding screw. Most, if not all, external antenna radio models are DC Grounded. Lightning arrestors should be considered to provide additional protection. Warranty may be void if the product is not grounded or incorrectly grounded.
